On December 7, the 2024 Pudong International Talent Port Forum was held at the Zhangjiang Science Hall. The forum released the list of representatives selected for the 2024 Pudong New Area “Mingzhu Talent Program.” Three researchers from the Zhangjiang Institute for Advanced Study were selected, including two “Mingzhu Leading Talents” and one “Mingzhu Elite Talent.”

Mingzhu Leading Talent Hu Zhiyu, Chair Professor at the Future Materials Innovation Center of Zhangjiang Institute for Advanced Study. Main research areas: micro/nanoscale energy conversion, micro/nano thermoelectric chips, advanced sensors, and functional nanostructured materials.

Mingzhu Leading Talent Li Gang, Resident Scientist at Zhangjiang Institute for Advanced Study, Distinguished Research Fellow at the Frontier Center of Transformative Molecular Science. Main research areas: CO₂ utilization, activation and recombination of inert bonds and molecules, and green organic synthesis chemistry.

Mingzhu Elite Talent Wang Fei, Resident Scientist at Zhangjiang Institute for Advanced Study, Tenure-Track Associate Professor and Researcher at the Frontier Center of Transformative Molecular Science. Main research areas: nucleic acid information materials and DNA intelligent assembly.
