Center for AI Cybersecurity Innovation

The Artificial Intelligence Cybersecurity Innovation Center is led by the School of Electronic Information and Electrical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and is built upon the Institute of Cybersecurity Technologies. It aims to establish a cross-disciplinary and cross-professional platform for innovation in AI-driven cybersecurity. The center benchmarks itself against the Information Technology Laboratory (ITL) of the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), as well as leading domestic laboratories such as Zhijiang and Pengcheng, striving to become a nationally leading and internationally influential platform for AI-powered cybersecurity innovation.
Key development areas include:
1. Cyber Intelligence Analysis and Early Warning Sub-Platform: Modeled after global AI unicorns, this platform focuses on addressing fundamental scientific challenges such as proactive acquisition of global internet-wide big data and intelligent multimedia information analysis. It aims to significantly enhance capabilities in maintaining stability and security in cyberspace and megacities.
2. Fintech Cyber Range and Blockchain Security Sub-Platform: As the first of its kind in China, this platform supports research into key scientific issues including mimetic simulation of critical information infrastructure, cyber-physical reconstruction, and cyberattack traceability. It will be fully integrated into the center’s major scientific infrastructure cluster, serving innovation in financial and cybersecurity domains.
