The 2nd "Zhangjiang Forum" — Convergent Innovation in Synthesis Science was successfully held at ZIAS, also serving as the 37th edition of SJTU's "Tech Crossfire" Interdisciplinary Forum. The forum brought together leading experts in synthesis science from across the country to discuss cutting-edge developments and future directions in the field. The forum featured keynote presentations on convergent synthesis methodologies, sustainable chemistry, and AI-driven synthetic route design. Panel discussions explored how interdisciplinary approaches can accelerate breakthroughs in synthesis science, with particular emphasis on the integration of artificial intelligence, automation, and green chemistry principles.
