Abstract
Chiral indoles are crucial in developing drugs, catalysts, and materials. However, this field is still developing, and selective synthesis is a key challenge. The team proposed new strategies using indole scaffold molecules—like indolemethanol, alkenylindole, and arylindole—for asymmetric transformations. These platforms exhibited unique reactivity and selectivity, revealing fundamental mechanisms and promoting the field's development. This talk presents the latest progress on designing indolemethanol scaffolds for asymmetric catalysis.
